It would be my pleasure to help bring your cherished memories back to life!
Your photos can be scanned and sent to me via email attachment, CD, or the original
copy can be mailed to the address below.
Some general tips and guidelines:
If you’re shooting a photograph that you plan to have retouched, please use the highest resolution settings on your camera.
If you’re scanning a photo to have it retouched, you will need to use a
high quality, high resolution scanner for best results. If you are not
certain that your home scanner will produce the necessary results, you
may want to consider taking it somewhere to be scanned (such as
Kinko's, Office Max, etc). If possible, scan the original photo rather
than a copy of the original.
Please scan your photo at a resolution of at least 300 dpi (600 dpi is preferred). The color
mode should be set to RGB, even if it's a black and white photo. Do
not alter the photo in any way by making enhancements, corrections, or
resizing the scanned image. Save your scanned image as a TIFF or high quality JPEG.
If you choose to mail your original photo, please package it carefully so it
does not become scratched or bent. It is advisable to use a mailing
service that provides tracking and a return receipt. Sepia Studio
cannot be responsible for any damaged or misdirected mail.
How it works:
After your original photo has been evaluated and is deemed repairable, an estimate of
the costs will be sent to you. Upon your approval of the estimate, I
will begin working on your photo. Once I am done, a proof will be
e-mailed to you for your review and approval.
Payment:
When you are pleased with the final result, I will send you an invoice. Payment by credit card,
debit card, or bank account transaction can be accepted through PayPal.
Once payment has been received, your restored photo(s), along with
any originals, will be sent back in the method of your choice:
A. Postal mail: Sepia Studio will mail both the original and the restored photo(s)
to you. In addition to "labor" rates, additional cost is determined by the quantity and size of printed photos, plus shipping costs.
or
B. E-mail: The final photo(s) can be e-mailed back to you to have printed at your local developer. Photos can be e-mailed in both a high
and low resolution and in various sizes and formats of your choosing.
To request an estimate, please send me an e-mail along with your photo(s) and a detailed description
of what you need to have done to the address below and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you!
